Mass Messages

Updated this week

Consistent messaging is a great way to keep your community engaged! Mass messages enable you to communicate with a large number of followers or subscribers simultaneously, eliminating the need to message each person individually!

You can send a mass message to:

  • Share weekly or monthly updates.

  • Notify your community when a new set is live on your feed.

  • Send exclusive content to users in specific Lists.

  • And so much more!

How to Send a Mass Message:

  1. Click on the envelope icon. (either above the list in the top right or in a blue bubble in the bottom right)

  2. Select the New Mass Message tab.

  3. Set your audience

  4. Schedule your message (optional)

  5. Add your text and media (including permission)

  6. Press Send

Options

Whether sending special content to your VIPs or alerting all your fans about exciting news, you're in control of who receives your message and when.

Customizing Your Audience

When setting up a mass message, you can choose exactly who receives it by adjusting the audience filters:

  • Include Subscribers: When you check this box, additional options appear. You can choose a specific tier or send to all current subscribers, regardless of their tier, as well as choose whether to include users who have auto-renew on or off.

  • Include Expired Subscribers: Target users who previously subscribed but whose subscriptions have expired.

  • Include Followers: Sends to users who follow you but aren’t subscribed.

  • Exclude Creators (default): Prevents other creators from receiving your message. If a creator is subscribed to you and you include subscribers, they’ll still get the message even with this selected.

  • Exclude Offline Users: Great for promoting live events. This limits delivery to users who are currently active on the site.

  • Include Lists: Target users on one or more custom lists. For more information on Lists, click here.

  • Exclude Lists: Omit specific lists from receiving your message.

  • Exclude Users: Manually exclude individual users from receiving the message.

Mass messages aren’t sent to users who haven’t been active recently, even if the options you select could include them.

Scheduling the Message

You can schedule your mass message to send at a future date and time. Here's how:

  1. Once you've chosen your audience, click the calendar icon next to "Schedule Mass Message."

  2. In the calendar pop-up:

    • The selected date will be highlighted in bright blue.

    • If you choose a future date, today's date will appear with a faded blue highlight.

  3. Use the dropdown to set the exact hour and minute you want your message to be sent.

    • Ensure that you double-check your AM/PM or 24-hour time format setting.

    • Time is always based on your own time zone (this isn’t visible to your recipients).

  4. You can also use Quick Select to jump forward by a number of days (e.g., +7d to move ahead a week, then -1d to go back a day).

  5. If this is a time you’ll use regularly, check Remember Time to save it for next time.

  6. Once everything is set, click Confirm Date to schedule your message.

Composing the Message

Once you've set your audience and scheduled your message (if needed), click Next to start composing.

You’ll see a message editor where you can:

  1. Type your message text

  2. Upload media (photos or videos)

  3. Add locked text

  4. Include a voice note

Note about media likes:

If you include media in a mass message, whether it’s new or previously shared, fans will only see their own Like. The like count is not shared across users, so it always appears as if they’re the first to interact with it.

Deleting a Mass Message

Need to remove a previously sent message? Here's how:

  1. Locate the message you want to delete.

  2. Click the trashcan icon to unsend it.

⚠️ Please Note: Deleting a message will remove it from all recipients’ inboxes.

  • However, if a user has already purchased any content from that message, it will remain in their Purchases folder and cannot be removed.

Track Your Success!

Mass messages don’t just send content; they also provide insights into how your audience is engaging! Use the Broadcast Message Stats tab to see performance data for each message you've sent.

Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Date & Time: When the message was sent

  • Sent: Total number of users the message was delivered to

  • Viewed: How many users opened the message

  • Purchases: How many users bought media from that message

  • Earned: Total income from the media included

  • Text: A preview of the message content

  • Attachments: Number of files included. On desktop, click Expand to view them; on mobile, tap View.

These insights help you understand what’s working so you can plan smarter, test different strategies, and grow your success over time!
