Blocking or Muting an Account

Both options are private, giving you peace of mind, but they serve different purposes. Check out how!

Updated yesterday

Take control of your Fansly experience! Blocking and muting are simple yet powerful tools that allow you to decide how and when others can interact with you!

Blocking a User

  • The blocked user cannot interact with you or view your profile.

  • You can no longer interact with their profile.

  • Any linked secondary accounts are also blocked.

  • Best option if you want complete disconnection.

Muting a User

  • This overrides your Notification settings for the specific user.

  • The muted user can still view your profile and interact with you.

  • Their feed posts will no longer appear on your homepage.

  • You won’t receive their Mass DMs.

  • You won’t be notified when they go live.

  • Ideal if you want to avoid someone’s content without fully cutting them off.

Both blocking and muting are discreet: the other user is never notified.

How to Block or Mute

You can block or mute a user from almost anywhere you see their content:

  1. Go to the user’s post, profile, or DM.

  2. Click the three dots () in the top-right corner.

How to Unmute

Want their content back in your feed? You can unmute a user anytime:

  1. Visit the muted user’s profile, post, or DM.

  2. Click the three dots () in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Unmute User from the dropdown.

  3. Find the account you want to unblock.
