Controlling Timeline Visibility
Your timeline includes all your published posts. While media permissions control how users unlock content, timeline permissions determine who can view that content on your profile.
How to set your timeline permissions:
💡 Tips:
If you’ve disabled your Follow button, be sure to remove any ‘Following’ requirement to keep your timeline visible to new users.
Want your posts eligible for the FYP even if your timeline is hidden? Enable “Internal discovery when the timeline is hidden.”

Blocking a Location
Want to prevent people in specific places from accessing your content? Geoblocking lets you block entire countries, states, cities, or regions from viewing your profile.
How to set it up:
Scroll to Add Blocked Locations.
Click in the Enter Blocked Location text box.
Start typing and select from the dropdown.
To add more, clear the text and repeat the process.
When geoblocking is enabled, users in those areas won’t see your profile in search results or on the FYP. If they try to access your profile directly, they’ll see an error message.
How to unblock an area:
To remove a block, go to Your Blocked Locations and click the trash icon next to the location you want to remove.
💡Pro tip: Be as specific as possible
Blocking large regions (like entire countries or provinces) can significantly limit your visibility.
For finer control, consider targeting a city (like Austin, TX) rather than a full state (like Texas).
General Privacy
Hide Tip Amounts Under Posts: Conceals the tip amount for each post.
You can choose to hide the total amount of tips you’ve received if you’d prefer to keep your earnings private. This keeps the focus on your content and community: not the numbers behind it! ✨
Sensitive Content Filters
You can blur potentially sensitive content in two ways: in your DMs or across the entire site. These work independently of each other.
In DMs
Blurs all media by default. You can choose to View Media (which unblurs it until the page is refreshed) or Disable Filter entirely.
Site-Wide
Blurs potentially sensitive content as you browse. Clicking the media gives you the option to View Media or Disable Filter. Enabling this setting will also reduce the number of NSFW posts on your FYP.
