Controlling Your DMs with DM Permissions

Updated this week

You can manage who can send you messages on Fansly by setting DM permissions. This gives you control over your message interactions so you only hear from users you want to engage with.

How to Set DM Permissions

  1. Go to your Creator Dashboard in the site menu.

  2. Select Messages from the list.

  3. Adjust your DM permissions to specify who can message you.

  4. Choose whether to receive messages from everyone, only followers, or custom lists.

Example:
You can set DM permissions so that users can only message you if they are subscribed, a follower tipping $1 per message, or a follower who has spent at least $50 unlocking PPV content.

💡 Pro Tip

Use DM permissions to tailor your fan interactions. Setting limits helps maintain privacy and ensures messages come from genuine supporters.
