How Tracking Links Work
Tracking Links show you which sources drive the most engagement and revenue. For example, you can generate a Tracking Link for Instagram and place it in your Instagram bio. Anyone who clicks the link and later makes a purchase will be credited to that Tracking Link.
Built-in Internal Tracking Links
Fansly also provides three default internal Tracking Links so you can measure traffic from within the platform:
Fansly FYP Tracking Link: Tracks users who discover you via the Fansly “For You” Page.
Fansly Suggestions Tracking Link: Tracks users who find you through Fansly’s Account Suggestions feature.
Fansly Search Tracking Link: Tracks users who locate you via Fansly’s search function.
Accessing Tracking Links
You can access Tracking Links from:
Your Creator Dashboard > Tracking Links
Click on your profile picture and select from the site menu.
To create a custom link, click Create Tracking Link near the top of the page. Give it a name and description (optional), and click Save.
To edit the name or description of an existing link, click the pencil icon to the right.
To delete the link, use the trash can icon.
Using the Link
Next to each custom link is the Copy icon. Once you’ve copied the link, you can use it anywhere you’d like!
💡Pro Tip: Create a unique link for each of your social media accounts to check where your fans find you!
Available Metrics
Your Tracking Links provide detailed insights into engagement and revenue. Key metrics include:
Claims: Counts when someone clicks your Tracking Link and either logs in or registers a new account. Clicks from visitors who don’t log in or sign up are not counted.
Follows: Shows how many people followed you after clicking your Tracking Link.
Subscriptions: Tracks new subscriptions from people who used your Tracking Link.
Revenue: Displays total revenue generated from users who clicked your Tracking Link.
Expanded Insights with Graphs
You can expand your view with a graph that breaks down revenue types over time, giving you a clearer picture of trends and performance.
Tracking Links vs Referrals
Unlike referrals, a user can be linked to multiple Tracking Links, whether they come from you or other creators.
Rather than generating revenue directly, tracking links offer more flexibility in tracking engagement and revenue.
Tracking Links are a powerful tool to help you refine your marketing strategy, understand your audience, and maximize your growth. Start using them today to gain sharper insights and boost your reach! 🤩
