Streaming Content Guidelines

Fansly Live rules on prohibited content, streaming games, copyright, and pre-recorded streams. Know what’s allowed before going live.

Updated yesterday

You can stream any content that you are normally allowed to post on Fansly. The same restrictions apply to live streams as to your regular uploads.

For specific details on prohibited content, refer to the Fansly Terms of Service.

Rights and Ownership

Ensure that you own all rights to the content you stream on Fansly or that you have explicit permission from the rights holder. This includes:

  • Background music

  • Video game footage

  • Any other third-party material

Streaming Games

If you plan to stream video games on Fansly, follow these steps to stay compliant:

  1. Review the Terms of Service for each game with its publisher.

  2. Some publishers may restrict streaming their content behind paywalls or in adult contexts.

  3. Violating a game publisher’s terms can result in penalties or account risk.

  4. Always confirm that your stream follows the game publisher’s policies before going live.

Pre-Recorded Content

Fansly Live Streams are designed for real-time, interactive experiences. Streaming pre-recorded or previously uploaded videos is not allowed, even with disclosure.

If you want to share pre-recorded videos, upload them directly to your Fansly page instead of using the live streaming feature.

💡 Pro Tip

Before going live, double-check that all your content — including background visuals and audio — complies with Fansly’s Terms of Service and copyright policies.
