How to Verify and Publish Content Featuring Others on Fansly

Fansly provides several approved methods to ensure that publishing collaborative content is done legally and ethically.

Consent is everything on Fansly! To make documenting consent easier, we've introduced the Co-Performers page.

Adding a Co-Performer

From the Co-Performers page, click Add Co-performer and choose one of the following options:

Send a consent request directly to another Fansly creator, similar to a friend request.

This replaces the previous method of using creator tags as proof of consent.

Generate a secure link that allows someone to verify their identity and provide consent without creating a Fansly account.

Enter the individual's information yourself and upload the required consent documents. This is very similar to the previous email method.

On-Site Requests

Manage incoming and outgoing requests from the Requests tab.

Incoming Requests

If another creator has sent a request, a blue circle will appear next to Co-performers on the Creator Dashboard. This circle may be yellow if you also have action requests waiting from our Compliance team.

💡 Note: The on-site request will only show for 7 days, after that it will not be reflected.

To view requests directly, visit: https://fansly.com/creator/coperformers/requests

For each request, you can:

  • Accept the request

  • Decline the request

Accepted requests will appear under Creators Featuring You. You can revoke consent at any time.

Sent Requests

To check requests you've sent to other creators, you can filter for Sent and check Sent · Requests You Made. Declined or revoked requests will appear here also.

What if my co-performer isn’t on Fansly?

If you’re collaborating with someone who doesn’t have a Fansly account, or who hasn’t applied as a creator, the simplest verification method is to encourage them to become a creator. Once they're a creator, you can then send them an on-site request.

💡 Pro Tip: If they use your referral link when signing up, you’ll earn a percentage of their earnings through Fansly’s referral program, at no cost to them.

📚 You can learn more about referrals here.

Invite Someone Not on Fansly

If your co-performer is unable to create a Fansly account, they can still be verified using a secure link to verify their identity and e-sign their consent.

When creating a secure link, the label is how they will appear in your list. Choose a label that will help you identify the individual later, such as their name or nickname.

You can also include a personal message. The recipient will see this message, along with your username, when they open the link.

What Happens Next?

Fansly has partnered with Ondato, a GDPR-compliant verification provider, to meet legal requirements while maintaining user privacy and ensuring a seamless experience. Your co-performer will use Ondato to:

  1. Complete identity verification

  2. Electronically sign the consent documents.

This process does not create a Fansly account or approve them as a creator.

💡 Note: The Ondato completion request is only valid for 14 days. Once that time passes, another invite will need to be sent.

Once completed, the submission will be added to your Co-Performers dashboard! Through the dashboard, you will see their first name, selfie and age.

Add a Co-Performer Manually

This option is similar to the previous email-based consent process, but allows you additional insight throughout the process.

  1. Enter the individual's information.

  2. Click Continue.

  3. Upload the required supporting documents.

  4. Click Submit for Review

The Label field determines how the individual appears in your dashboard. Using their name or another easily recognizable label is recommended.

Saving Drafts

If you save a draft and return later, certain details (such as Date of Birth and ID document number) will not be displayed on the page.

As long as you see the green check mark, the information has been successfully saved. You only need to re-enter these fields if changes are required.

Tying Photo

A tying photo is a photo of your co-performer holding both their government-issued ID and the signed consent form.

The photo must clearly show:

  • The co-performer's face

  • The government-issued ID

  • The page containing the co-performer's signature

The first page of the consent form does not need to be visible in the tying photo. However, a completed consent form must still be uploaded as part of the co-performer submission.

⚠️ Alabama Residents

Please ensure all three completed pages of the consent form, including the notary acknowledgement, are uploaded with the co-performer documents.

Is a Tying Photo Required?

A tying photo is optional when initially submitting consent forms. However, it is strongly recommended because it helps verify that the co-performer personally completed and signed the consent form.

Submissions can still be reviewed without a tying photo, but providing one may help prevent delays or rejections.

If a tying photo is not available at the time of submission, it should be uploaded as soon as possible.

Submission and Review Process

Before finalizing the submission, ensure that the details are all accurate and filled out completely as you will not be able to change these once the request is submitted. Submitting inaccurate information may require you to create a new submission, potentially delaying approval.

When you click Submit for Review, the request is sent to our team for verification. This can take up to 7 days.

If approved:

You'll see an Approved status next to the submission.

If additional information is needed:

The request will be returned with notes explaining what needs to be updated.

Use the Action Needed filter to quickly locate any returned submissions.

Common Questions ❓

Do I have to re-do all the consent forms I’ve previously emailed?

Not at all! If you've previously submitted consent forms by email, those consents remain valid. This tool simply provides a more streamlined process going forward.

Can I still tag creators in place of documentation?

While previous tags are still valid, we encourage you to send the creator an on-site request going forward rather than tagging them. Eventually, tagging will no longer be accepted as a form of consent.

⚠️ Please Note:

EVEN IF YOU PREVIOUSLY TAGGED A VERIFIED FANSLY CREATOR, YOU'RE STILL LEGALLY REQUIRED TO KEEP VERIFICATION/CONSENT DOCUMENTS ON FILE. IF WE EVER NEED TO VERIFY CONSENT AND YOU CAN'T PROVIDE IT, THAT'S ON YOU—NOT YOUR COLLABORATOR.

TAGGING ≠ CONSENT. IT JUST MEANS WE DIDN'T NEED THE PAPERWORK. YOU STILL DO.

Can I have a couples account?

No. Accounts on Fansly will have one account owner: the person who submits a creator application.

Anyone else featured in the content outside of the creator whose application is approved is considered a co-performer. As co-performers, they will need consent documentation on file.

💡 Please Note: The information on the approved application will be used to submit any taxes and for any potential account recovery verification.

How can I revoke consent?

For on-site requests:

If you previously accepted an on-site request, you can withdraw consent at any time from the Requests tab. Look for the red Revoke button

Once you revoke your consent, this will only apply to content moving forward. This will not impact any previous content.

If you have any concerns about previous media after revoking on-site consent, please follow the Retracting Consent process and reach out to [email protected]

How can I quickly check whether I've already submitted someone's documents?

Use the search and filter tools on the Co-Performers page to find previously submitted consent requests.

You can filter by:

  • Status (Approved, Action Needed, etc.)

  • Submission type (Manual, On-site, External)

For on–site requests, you can search for either username or display name.

For any documents you previously submitted via email, they won’t appear right away. Our team is working hard to get these added as soon as possible!

Where can I find the consent form?

For manual submissions, use the applicable form below:

⚠️ Please note: There is now a required Initials on the bottom of each page. Those must be completed as well as the signatures.

What else should I know about documenting consent?

  • Each collaborator requires separate documentation.

  • If multiple people are involved, submit the required documentation individually for each person (group photos are not accepted).

  • For anyone who is not a verified creator, signed consent documents are mandatory. No exceptions. Don’t skip this step!

  • You may publish the content only after receiving approval.

    • To avoid delays, we recommend using on-site requests whenever possible.
