Take control of who knows you've read their messages!
Fansly is now allowing you to show your read receipts! By default, this feature is enabled for everyone. Not to fear, though! You can disable it at any time.
To disable Read Receipts, go to the Privacy and Safety section in your Settings and toggle off the "Send Read Receipts" option.
To enable Read Receipts, please select the toggle again! The toggle will be green when enabled.
⚠️ Please note that disabling Read Receipts here will disable them for everyone you message with. However, this will not override the settings that you have set per user.

Clicking on the check marks will show you each step and the time stamp included!
What will you see if Read Receipts are enabled?
The message sender will see a series of 3 indicators as indicated in the screenshot below!
What will you see if Read Receipts are disabled?
If at least one person in the message has Read Receipts disabled, both users will see the Sent and Delivered check marks with time timestamps.
Neither person will see the two blue check marks indicating a Read confirmation.
Adjusting Read Receipts Per User:
You also have the option to turn off Read Receipts per user!
To do so, please head to the Direct Message (DM) for which you'd like to disable Read Receipts and select the three dots on the right side, shown in the screenshot below within the blue box.
Then select "Disable Read Receipts". This will ensure that only that user is unable to receive Read Receipts.
