💬 Chat Commands

Chat commands are short text commands that can be typed into a live stream’s chat to trigger specific actions, automate responses, or control elements of the live stream. These commands are often pre-programmed by the streaming platform or customizable by the streamer.

The following chat commands are available for your live streams:

  • /mod [username] - give other people permissions to moderate your chat

  • /ban [username] - ban the specified user from sending messages in your chat

  • /timeout [username] [duration in seconds] - prevent a user from sending messages for the specified amount of time

  • /unban [username] - reverts a ban on the specified user

  • /slow[seconds] - user can only type once within the specified time limit**

  • /slowmode [seconds] -user can only type once within the specified time limit**

  • /slow 0 or /slowoff - turns off slow mode for all users

**Tipped messages will bypass the slow mode. Moderations and channel owners do as well.
