📖 Stories: Share Quick Updates with Your Fans!

Looking to share a quick peek into your daily life or promote a new post? Stories are a fast and easy way to do just that! 🌟

If you’ve ever used the Stories feature on Instagram or Facebook, you’ll feel right at home—Fansly Stories work the same way. Simply post media, and it will stay on your story for 24 hours before automatically disappearing.

Why use Stories?

  • Share quick updates or behind-the-scenes moments.

  • Advertise new content in a fun, engaging way.

  • Keep your audience connected and engaged!

💡 Media Permissions:
When posting to Stories, you’ll have the exact same media permissions as when posting to your feed or sending DMs. If you're curious about pay-per-view (PPV) content or need a deeper dive into media permissions, check out our Creator Guide for helpful tips.

📲 How to Post a Story on Fansly:
1️⃣ Head to the Fansly home page.
2️⃣ Locate your story section (check out the image example below for guidance).
3️⃣ Upload your new story (it’s outlined in red for easy spotting).
4️⃣ View stories from creators you follow to stay inspired!

📱 Posting a Story on Mobile

Sharing a story on mobile—whether you’re using a browser or the app—is just as easy as on desktop! 🌟 While the process is the same, the layout looks a little different on mobile.

🔍 Where to find Stories on mobile:

  • Stories are located right at the top of the page for quick access.

  • To post a new story, simply tap the button outlined in red (check out the mobile screenshot example below for reference).

📝 Whether you’re sharing a fun update, a quick peek into your day, or promoting new content, posting a story on mobile is a seamless way to connect with your fans anytime, anywhere! ⬆️

Start sharing now and keep your audience engaged on the go! 😊

👀 Pictured below is an example of media, and default permissions when uploading to your story. If you’ve uploaded media to your feed, or to messages before, this will be familiar.

✔️ Once you’ve pressed upload, you will be given a preview of your story, and then a button on the bottom right to “Create” (outlined in red in the photo below).

🗑️ If you wish to delete your uploaded story, you can do so by clicking your icon in the stories UI, and pressing “view your story”.

⏭️ From there, you will notice three dots on the top right that you can click, where you can check how many views your story gained, or delete the posted story - this is also where you can report a story if you see something that goes against the Fansly Terms of Service.
