Reposting vs. Reuploading Content

Fansly supports creators in keeping agency over their content while fostering collaboration. Here's how it works:

Reposting

  • No Consent Form Needed:
When you repost another creator's content, the original post remains credited to them. ✔️

    • How to Repost:

      • Go to the original post.

      • Click the repost icon at the bottom. 🔄

      • The post will appear on your timeline, linking back to the original creator.

Reuploading

  • Consent Form Required:
If you want to re-upload another creator’s content (instead of reposting), all parties in the content must sign and submit consent forms as per Fansly’s guidelines. 📝

Examples

    1. Promoting Content:

      • Repost: Creator A wants to promote content from Creator B. They can repost Creator B’s original post without needing a consent form.

    2. Reuploading Content:

      • If Creator A wants to re-upload Creator B’s content to their own account, a signed consent form is required.

    3. Collaborative Content:

      • If Creator A and Creator B make content together:

        • Content can be reposted or re-uploaded, but either a tag or a consent form is required.

Why Reposting Matters

Reposting helps the original creator:

          • Retain ownership of their work. 🛡️

          • Receive credit for their effort. 🌟
This ensures a fair and supportive environment for all creators! 🤝

Important Reminder

Failure to follow these policies may result in action taken against your Fansly account. ⚠️ So always double-check before sharing content!

How do I repost?

Simply head to the original post, navigate to the bottom of it, and select the repost icon. Please note that failure to adhere to this policy may result in action taken against your Fansly account.

Once you have re-posted another creator's post, that post is visible on your timeline. Any users can easily navigate to the original post and creator. Here's what it looks like:
