What is a payer?
A payer is the entity responsible for delivering your payout. Fansly partners with multiple payout providers, and each provider may have several payers available to process and deliver your funds.
Depending on the payer you choose, you may be required to submit different information during setup.
Where to choose your payer
Some payout methods, such as Paxum and Cosmopayment, are their own payers. This means payouts through those partners are delivered directly by them.
Bank and cryptocurrency payouts, however, may be handled by multiple payers.
Once you select your country on the Payout Methods page, you’ll see the required details for each payout method. A payer dropdown menu will also appear, allowing you to choose from the available options in your region.
How to choose the right payer
Choosing a payer is entirely up to you, but it’s important to note that different payers may process funds in different currencies.
Bank Wire payers typically deliver funds in USD or EUR through the SWIFT network (international bank transfer).
Bank Deposit payers usually deliver funds locally and in your local currency.
💡 Pro Tip
Your bank may charge a fee for receiving international transfers. To avoid unexpected charges, check with your bank beforehand.
The Payout Methods page will always display the currency associated with each method.
In some countries, payers are divided by bank. If this applies to your region, simply select your bank from the dropdown menu and continue setup.
