“Login from a new device”

To protect your account when signing in from a new device or location, we may email you a verification code to authorize the sign-in attempt. Enter the 6-digit code at the login page to successfully sign in to the account. After that particular device/location has been authorized, you should be able to sign in to your account without providing a code going forward.

If you frequently change devices/locations, you may want to enable two-factor authentication instead - once 2FA is set up, you will not be prompted to enter email codes anymore.
